for how to get the keywords embedded in exported JPGs. Look over on the right of this screengrab from LR5 to see where you input Title and Captions - to either just one or a selection of files (chosen in Grid view). Am I missing a step such that the metadata are not being embedded? Shouldn't metadata from at least some of these methods show up when right-clicking the file in Windows and looking at properties? I would like these data to be viewable by this method, even though I am sure the people looking at these images have, and know how to use LR.ģ. It is not really relevant or useful in this case.Ģ. What is the best option for including Title and Caption? EXIF? IPTC? something else? I really don't need a whole lot of other data fields to be filled in. I have looked up the topic but have not found the answers I'm looking for. I imported the photos back into LR and did not see these metadata in LR either. Then, I right-clicked the files and looked at Properties hoping to see these metadata, however I did not. I added the Titles and Captions for a few photos, then exported them as TIFs. In the Library Module, I assumed EXIF and IPTC would be the way to go on this. I generally tag my photos on import, but have not done much with metadata, at least for titles and captions. I am submitting photos for consideration for inclusion in an exhibition, and the organizers want Title and Caption info embedded in Lightroom metadata.
